When Southern Telecom® wanted to connect Macon, Ga. to its long-haul fiber route stretching from Atlanta to Jacksonville, Fla., they needed one company that could engineer, furnish and install the network. They called on AFL Telecommunications. |

The AFL Telecommunications Solution:
AFL provided a full turnkey package for the Southern Telecom network build by manufacturing the material for the project including the Optical Ground Wire and attachment hardware. Its Electric Utility Services team also installed all the passive components, and completed the network with splicing and testing services. The project was completed on time, under budget. |
