ACA offers four types of compounds for various industry applications.

  ACA Filler Compound (AFC)
ACA Filler Compound (AFC) - ACA Filler Compound is the recommended filler for compression fittings. As the compression is made, AFC is forced around the strands effectively sealing out air and moisture. AFC is available in standard caulking tubes, which fit inexpensive skeleton caulking guns.

ACA No. 2 Electrical Joint Compound (EJC)
ACA No. 2 Electrical Joint Compound (EJC) – Our Electrical Joint Compound is the recommended compound for aluminum-to-aluminum and aluminum-to-copper flat-to-flat surfaces such as bus-to-bus, terminal to dead end, and terminal pad to bus. ACA No. 2 EJC, a patented compound of an active chemical in a grease type sealer, acts to dissolve the oxide film and seals the joint against moisture. The effective oxide removal promotes low resistance joints. The flow point of ACA No. 2 EJC is about 150° F although tests show that a film remains in the joint up to 200° F to seal the joint and maintain stable operation.
